Race for Autism

On Saturday, April 19th, our family ran/walked in the 1 mile Fun Run at the local Race for Autism. As many of you know, Benjamin was diagnosed with high functioning autism when he was 3. We have been really blessed to have great schools, programs and resources in this area for him. This was a really fun day for our family. Benjamin saw several classmates and teachers and we saw several people from church that came out to support the race. Evan was happy that the T-shirts were his favorite color.

Evan's pants were loose so he kept holding his shorts up as he was running or they would start to shimmy down his legs with each step. He was so funny!

More Soccer with Benjamin

Benjamin continues to enjoy soccer.

Jacob the Tattoo Artist (?)

As you can see, Jacob did a pretty good job decorating himself with markers.

Matthew at 6 months

Matthew is now 6 months old and weighs 18 lbs 4 oz and is 26 inches tall. I caught some cute poses of him and there is a video of him bouncing in his Johnny Jumper which is new fun for him. And yes, the only doorway available downstairs is the bathroom doorway, but it keeps him happy.

Jacob the Artist

Jacob loves to color and will often bring me a coloring book and say "Crayons?" He is still working on knowing which color is which but he's getting there.

Benjamin Plays Soccer

Benjamin started playing soccer and really loves it and seems to be quite good at it. Here are some moves from his first week. Check out the video.

Jacob's New Haircut

Jacob saw me cutting his dad's hair and wanted me to use the same clippers on him, so I breathed deeply and gave it a go. I think he looks very cute and it makes him look a bit older.
