Evan's New Word

He was so proud of himself for getting this right!

Wizzy the Caterpillar

Evan is always finding things and naming them. Here is his pet for the day, Wizzy the Caterpillar. They played with him for quite a while before he crawled off.

Birthday Party and Soccer for Bejamin

Benjamin had a blast at a classmates birthday party held at Pump It Up!

He loved the slide but had a hard time waiting his turn

He loved playing air hockey with his friend

I can't believe he still had any energy left to play soccer

But he did a great job

Jacob and the Carrot Phone

A couple of weeks ago, Jacob was looking out the window for Benjamin's bus and eating carrots. One of them was really curvy so he decided he needed to call Carrie on his "Carrot Phone."
Too cute!

Happy Mother's Day!

This post is WAY late but still cute. I was glad to catch these cute pictures of my boys reading together Mother's Day morning before going to church. It's especially cute now that Benjamin and Evan can read to Jacob and Matthew and each other. We also went to visit Ben's sister Stephanie, husband Dave and kids Claudia and Ruben for the afternoon. They were in love with the fish as you can see. At the bottom is a special song that the boys sang at church. They had their silly version that we kept at home:)

Evan and Jacob loved looking at the fish..a little too much fun.

Evan took these photos of the fish

Benjamin decided he needed to work out. He had a goal of getting so many miles.

Evan really liked Ruben's Bakugan (sp?) toys

Race for Autism 2009

We had a great time at the Bridge Valley Race for Autism again this year. The one thing I didn't count on was running the whole mile with Benjamin but it was worth it and we made pretty good time without training:) We saw lots of classmates and family and lots of people from our church turned out to support a great cause!

Benjamin getting excited to start the race

Matthew and Jacob getting ready to ride in the race...the funny thing was that Evan traded places with Jacob and Jacob ran quite a bit of the race.
