Benjamin's 5th Birthday!

Benjamin turned 5 years old today. Despite being a bit under the weather and having to stay home from school, he managed to be excited about presents and cake.

Benjamin's favorite present... Curious George to play on the Gamecube.

Chuck E Cheese Birthday Adventure

Benjamin loves Chuck E Cheese, so since his birthday is this week, we took him over the weekend and they all had fun. We got lots of tickets and some fun prizes, ate pizza, and Benjamin got a birthday balloon!

Snow Party!

On Thursday, February 1st 2007 we actually woke up to snow! This has never happened in the almost 4 years that we have lived here. Benjamin, Evan and Jacob were fascinated as they watched the snow falling from the sky. Evan said very excitedly, "It's Christmas!" and we had to convince that, no, it's winter:) After gearing up in coats, boots, gloves and hats, we went outside and made the most of our snow. Benjamin made a snow angel. Evan tasted the snow. We built a snowman, sled down the front hill in the lid to our sandbox and had several snowball fights. After I convinced the boys to come back in the house, we had hot cocoa and they said it was a snow party. The snow stuck around for a day and a half and Benjamin got 2 days off from school. It was a fun day!
