First Picture--this one is modest! He's got good lungs, and didn't really want to be weighed!
Jenny got to hold him right away.
Both mama and baby look really good
He didn't want to open his eyes--those lights are bright!
But the nurses finally turned the lights down low, and he opened his eyes, so I handed him off to Jenny to take some pictures. He's a little confused at this point!
What happened?
I think he's hungry!
He still wasn't sure about all this, and so we sent him to get cleaned up.
And they brought him back with this knitted hat, and he was very comfy.
In fact, he didn't want to wake up!
But he let everyone hold him--Grandma,
Even Jacob!
And Evan
And Benjamin, of course.Benjamin kept saying, "I love you, Matthew".
We are, of course, very excited, and will post more pictures in the coming days and weeks.

Congratulations Jenny! He is a beautiful baby! Those four boys are going to have so much fun growing up together! Benjamin seems to take on the big brother role quite well! Hope your recovery goes well!
